Hi: Welcome to clothdollpatternscom! I have been in business for many years now and have continued to update the info below to try to give you a good understanding of how the site works and this crazy fun business of doll patterns!
clothdollpatterns respects your privacy and does not sell our mailing list to anyone. Credit Card information is collected via a secured server (SLL encrypted) and passed to our Credit Card payment processor. We do not store any credit card information. On occasion certain items, such as Becky Holloway Patterns, Leta Benedict CDs and other items may be shipped directly to you from the wholesaler/designer. In these cases your shipping information is sent to them so that they may fill your order. During the check out process, you have the option of having the shopping cart remember your name and address, using a "cookie". This is only done if you check the box accepting it.
I take Paypal and Credit Cards through the shopping cart check out feature. Your account is charged for the total amount at the time of purchase. Out of stock items can be refunded if you choose not to wait on a reorder. I do not take mail in orders.
Due to the nature of our products we do not offer refunds on patterns or CDs unless an error has been made or an item is defective.
Stock on Hand: I try to keep all patterns listed on the site in stock. But with over 1800 patterns this is often hard to do. Some patterns may not be available to ship immediately. My site is a retail only site, I do not sell wholesale. I am constantly reordering patterns and some of the designers take many weeks or even months to ship a reorder. I will notify you either by email or via a paper note in your shipment of any backordered patterns and give my best estimate of how long it will take to get your pattern in. Please understand that this is only an estimate...not all the designers have stock on hand to ship promptly, most do this as a hobby not their full time job. I have sometimes waited for many months for a reorder. You always have the option of canceling the back orders for a full refund. Feel free to send me an email and I'll let you know the status and answer any questions you have.
Shipping Policy: Effective in April of 2018 we will no longer ship outside of North America
Please make sure the email address you provide at check out is correct as I will notify you of any issues with your order via email. It is not used for any marketing emails etc. If the email address is invalid and no phone number is provided I may write to you for verification before processing your order.
I generally ship within 5 business days on most in stock items. Postage for shipping via regular US mail (first class) and Canadian mail is included in the listed price of all patterns. You will be notified of out of stock items and may choose to cancel them or wait for the back order. I ship from Irvine, California. (this does not apply to Holiday periods)
Overseas Shipping: Effective in April of 2018 we will no longer ship outside of North America
For overseas shipping, you need to add the additional shipping cost to your shopping cart. There is a link to Foreign Shipping on each designer's page. You click on the appropriate button for the number of patterns you are buying and that shipping amount will be added to your cart. I generally only ship overseas orders once a week as I have to go the Post Office to handle the customs forms. Please be aware that foreign shipments can take 6 to 8 weeks.
You can contact me at email@example.com to discuss Priority shipping and other expedited shipping options. We are happy to accommodate your requests though there may be an additional charge on Priority or Fed Ex deliveries.
